Muscad'Or is a limited edition celebrating the fourth anniversary of Distillery De Molenberg.This edition is a single malt whiskey that received 33 months of basic aging in Bourbon barrels followed by a 10-month finish in French Muscat wine barrels, previously used for aging Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise. The Muscat grape ripens there on old vines on sun-drenched hill terraces, protected by the mistral wind. This is what gives this gold-colored whiskey its velvety soft attack followed by blooming aromas of apricot, nectar and ripe fruit, rounded off with a softly lingering, sweet spiciness.
