This rum was specially bottled in honor of the birth of our grandson Thiago. This rum comes from Trinidad & Tobago has 5 years aged in the Caribbean, and 1 year in Belgium on a French oak barrel. This rum tastes toasty and contains wood notes. You can also taste hints of almond, black pepper, mocha and honey. The aftertaste is dry, rich and silky on the palate, with black chocolate and mocha on the finish. Of this rum at cask strength 58%, 48 numbered bottles were bottled specially for us. Feel free to come and taste, we have 1 bottle open!
