NAT111 JAMAICA 14 years 2007/2021 'Whisky Finish' - 10 years tropical + RR Ardmore Sept 2018 Rich in esters and spicy according to the perfect Jamaican style, but made softer, more complex and opulent by 10 years of tropical maturation followed by a further period of refinement in Europe. In the nose it is typically funky, but also with notes of bergamot tea, spices, nutmeg and cola. In the mouth, it is velvety and full of ripe fruit, yet quite on the dry side. It dances between spicy notes of pepper and cinnamon, and a fruity quality, with spicy notes of chamomile.
