Hampden LROK 2010 47°

The Hampden Estate 2010 LROK is bottled at 47% and there will only be a very limited allocation coming to Belgium! As you probably already know Hampden Estate exists since 1753 and is situated in Jamaica. Known for their typical heavy pot still pure single rums and unique production methods, Hampden is now launching their 11 year old tropical aged rum.

The LROK brand was created in 2000 and stands for 'Light Rum Owen Kelly'. This means that it is a rum with a high ester concentration between 200 to 400 g/hLPA.

To obtain the same result from the 11 years of tropical aging, the rum should have matured for 44 years continentally. This is all due to Jamaica's tropical climate and all its influences. As a result, this LROK offers a balanced yet very intense profile.

Nose: You can immediately detect fruity notes of dried banana, cane sugar and Arlequin sweets.

Taste: Fresh flavors of exotic fruit, vanilla and menthol.

Finish: You can enjoy its long finish and flavors of rum cake, licorice and orange peel.
