Christian Drouin's 2002 vintage calvados is a magnificent Pays d'Auge calvados that went to age partially in Rivesaltes barrels after an initial aging in classic calvados barrels. Rivesaltes is a fortified sweet French dessert wine (or vin doux naturel) from the Rousillon region in southern France.


Vintage 2002 has a candid nose with apple, candied fruit and hints of blond tobacco. The mouth is straightforward with zest of apple on the finish. One in the run-up to Father's Day ?
