For Duvel Distilled, a portion of Duvel's base brew was distilled in the authentic manner and then aged for ten years in oak bourbon and sherry barrels. The result is a unique Duvel-based spirit with golden hints of color and floral aromas. Duvel Distilled 2021, aged for 10 years, will be released on the Belgian market in a limited edition. Only 13,780 bottles are available, so those who want to get their hands on a bottle will have to be quick because last year the stock was exhausted after three days.Duvel Distilled is a pure, transparent drink with straw yellow and golden color tones with an aroma of vanilla, raisins and toffee. The alcohol content is 40°. By aging the spirit in oak bourbon and sherry barrels, this liquor gets a subtle vanilla touch. The aftertaste is characterized by a warming mouthfeel.
